Philosophy of Ministry

It is our purpose to provide opportunities for your child to grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is through His word, the Bible.  All of the programs we provide are purposeful and useful for your child’s spiritual formation.

We believe the primary disciples of children are their parents, but the church as a whole bears a responsibility to see them grow in their relationship with Jesus.  So, we partner with parents on their journey as they disciple their children.

We strive to create a safe, thoughtful, and fun environment where kids are encouraged and parents are supported.

Your Child's Safety

Woodland Heights Baptist Church and its leaders take your child’s safety and physical well-being seriously.

All WHBC volunteers must complete and participate in ongoing MinistrySafe training sessions which includes a background check before volunteering in any WHBC Children’s Ministry area.

Cameras are in all our children’s classrooms and no child is ever allowed to be alone with an adult volunteer.

If you have any questions regarding our Children’s Safety Protocols, please contact the church office at 817-571-7884.
